Our story
A rescue built around care.
Community Cats of Central Arkansas, also known as Community Cats Global, is a foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We work to reduce euthanasia at local shelters and help cats who need safety, rehabilitation and medical care.

It started with three kittens.
In 2016, three tiny kittens rescued from freezing conditions came into a single foster home. That beginning grew into a network of fosters and volunteers, united by the belief that every cat’s life has value.
Some cats need more time. We make room for that.
Our work includes neonatal kittens, seniors, cats with special needs, hospice cats and cats recovering from serious injuries. For adoptable cats, veterinary care and spay or neuter come before a new home. For others, comfort and attentive care remain the priority.
Help that reaches further
Alley Cat Allies provided disaster-relief funding after the March 2023 tornadoes, followed by another grant supporting access to veterinary care. We are grateful for the people and organizations who help make this work possible.

A little room. A real difference.
A home, a foster space, or supplies for the next cat in care. There is more than one way to help.
